Half the horizon's gone.
So uhh, Hanif Kureishi likes to throw his characters around as cameo appearances;
Kamir and Charlie from The Buddha of Suburbia appear in a restaurant in Gabriel's Gift as famous / successful actors and musicians respectively. Eva has died, and Kamir's Dad might also be. He named his son after him though.
In the same book, Deedee Osgood from The Black Album became a therapist and wrote a book or something.
In Something to Tell You, Omar from My Beautiful Laundrette has become a Lord. Johnny is nowhere to be seen though. Omar spends his time doing various younger guys.
